I started drumming at the age of 14 in my hometown of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. In 2013 I moved to Toronto to start my current band, Centuries of Decay. Our debut album was released in 2017, and in 2018 we were named the winners of the Wacken Metal Battle Canada. This gave us the opportunity to represent Canada in the finals at Wacken Open Air in Germany that summer. In 2020 I became the winner of the 3rd season of Banger TV's "Shredders of Metal."
Though I love playing fast double bass, blast beats and odd time signatures, I also really enjoy building quiet, atmospheric sections using various rudiments and interesting cymbal work. My focus is always on being precise, powerful and creative.
